“Residir é Resistir”

Photography has the potential to communicate something meaningful, to show another point of view. Nowadays, it seems like everything can be photographed at any time through social media that stimulate people to do so consistently. Fashion, music, the film industry, and other media have a lot of influence on the information that is being passed through photography. At the same time, this kind of information conditionate people to see the world through a specific filter made by them. Therefore, photography must also be used as a social visibility tool, by bringing visibility for those who need, and for what must be said. To show the world things, people, situations that need to be saw.

The portraits that were chosen have the purpose of giving visibility for
these people and their fights. Such as social, sexual, residential, and racial fights for fundamental rights in Brazil, 2017.
