“Residir é Resistir”

Photography has the potential to communicate something important, to show another point of view. Nowadays, it seems like everything can be photographed at anytime, through social medias that stimulate people to do so constantly. Fashion, music, the film industry, and other kinds of medias, have a lot of influence on the information that is being passed through photography, and at the same time, this kind of information condicionate people to see the world through a specific filter, made by them. Therefore, photography must be also used as a social visibility tool, by bringing visibility for those who need, and for what must be said. To show the world things, people, situations that really need to be saw.

The portraits that were chosen have the purpose to give visibility for
these people and their own fights. Such as social, sexual, residencial
and racial fights for fundamental rights in Brazil, 2017.
